• Location: Safe Shelter Romania
• Jake is a small size older boy who has such a sad story.
• Hi is a kill shelter Survivor, but only just.  Whilst he was waiting for someone to give him a chance and taking him out, he was very viciously attached by larger dogs in his kennel, and he was in a very poor way.
• We stepped in and took him under Elcee’s Rescue, and took him immediately to the vet, where we discovered his wounds were badly infected, and he developed sepsis, not once but twice!
• There was many times we thought we would loose his, but our little soldier fought on, and he gradually made great progress with the correct vet treatment and care.
• He is now staying indoors at a safe shelter in Romania, where he can be kept warm, and given lots of TLC, and lovely food, as he was so very thin.
• He is now fit and healthy and ready to travel to a retirement home in the UK.
• He would need someone that was around a lot of the time, that can give Jake all the love and attention he so deserves.
• A home as on only dog would be ideal for Jake, as understandably, after all that has happened, he can be wary around other dogs.
• Any children would need to be 15+
• He is microchipped and fully vaccinated and neutered, and will arrive in any new home with his own passport clearly outlining all the various tests and vaccinations he has had (in line with DEFRA rules and regulations).  He will also come with a full APHA (UK) Certificate for Brucellosis which is NEGATIVE.
