- Location: IN UK Foster Home in Leyland, Lancashire
- Jock is approximately 8 months old.
- He is small to medium size, weighing approx 12kg when fully grown.
- He is a very confident, happy little boy, and is puppy-like in his behaviour, being active and playful.
- He is incredibly affectionate and loves to greet people enthusiastically, and will also settle down nearby, he loves being close to his human.
- He is active and would need a lot of exercise, and a fully secure garden garden big enough for him to run around and do “zoomies”.
- He could make an excellent running companion (very fast) but there are the frequent sniff stops….!
- He has strong terrier traits, he loves to dig and would make a wonderful ratter!
- He loves other dogs, and would love another dog (preferably female) for run around and play with
- As a young dog, he can still chew, so would need to be wary of this when left.
- He is house-trained, although doesn’t yet know how to ask to go out, so like any pup, would need to be let out at regular intervals
- Has learned “sit” so far and this works well as a re-set when he is over enthusiastic
- He is a very clever young man, and wants to please you. Also food-motivated so excellent for training.
- A rural environment would be best suited for this boy, with fields, woods and lots of smells and places to explore.
- We may consider a home as an only dog in the right circumstance
- Any children would need to be 10+.
- No small furries – he is strongly terrier,
- He is microchipped and fully vaccinated and neutered, and will arrive in any new home with his own passport clearly outlining all the various tests and vaccinations he has had (in line with DEFRA rules and regulations). He will also come with a full APHA (UK) Certificate for Brucellosis which is NEGATIVE.
- If you think you can offer Jock the home that meets his needs and would like to be considered, please complete the Application Form.
