• Cody isn’t looking for “just any home.” He’s looking for his home — the one where he can finally exhale and belong.  He is 4 years old.
• After years in a shelter with just one kennel companion, Cody arrived in foster unsure, overwhelmed, and frightened of the world. But slowly… so slowly… he has begun to unfurl.
• He now curls up on the back of the sofa — close enough to feel safe, brave enough to watch the world outside. He leans into gentle strokes. He plays with his foster siblings. He’s discovering that walks can be joyful. He’s learning that humans can be kind.
• Cody is a slow burner, but when he trusts you, he shines — cheeky, playful, tender, and full of quiet love.
• Cody Needs Someone Special Someone patient. Someone calm. Someone who understands healing takes time. Someone with a friendly, confident dog to guide him.
• In His Foster Home:
• Clean in the house; uses the cat flap
• Eats in his crate where he feels secure
• No fear aggression
• Loves other dogs
• Cat‑friendly
• Travels well
• Spooks at loud noises — needs secure harness/lead
• Health Neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated, passport, and negative APHA Brucellosis Certificate.
