- Location: UK Foster home in Little Clacton, North Essex
- Fergus is a small medium size terrier cross, estimated around 2 years old
- He is a kill shelter survivor, and travelled to his foster home in the UK in February 2026.
- He is a very happy and friendly young man. He has a very calm and gentle nature. He enjoys a fuss but not really a cuddly dog.
- He is a little worried at first when meeting new people & will keep his distance, but does relax after a short while.
- It took him a little while to be interested in playing with toys. although he has started to play a little recently.
- He gets on well and enjoys being around other dogs and is also good with cats.
- He currently lives with two other dogs & enjoys their company.
- He settles well at night without any fuss.
- He walks fine in his harness & lead, doesn’t pull.
- He’s beginning to enjoy his walks, although he did find the world a little overwhelming at first. He is starting to relax more each day.
- He ignores other people and other dogs and cats when out on walks.
- He is house trained & uses a dog flap to toilet.
- Loves his food. He is fed separately to the other dogs as he can try to eat their food.
- He’s been fine when left for a few hours.
- He travels well in the car.
- Any resident children would need to be aged 10+
- He is microchipped and fully vaccinated and neutered, and will arrive in any new home with his own passport clearly outlining all the various tests and vaccinations he has had (in line with DEFRA rules and regulations). He will also come with a full APHA (UK) Certificate for Brucellosis which is NEGATIVE.
